Chemical Procurement Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Chemical Procurement Specialist to lead supplier engagement and manage procurement processes for specialty chemicals and raw materials.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a high volume of Request for Quotes (RFQs) ensuring timely delivery of quality quotes
• Assess supplier landscape and engage with new suppliers to secure competitive quotes
• Facilitate communication between suppliers and buyers regarding product specifications and terms

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in the chemical industry
• Bachelor's degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, or natural science
• 5+ years of experience in sourcing, technical sales, or business development
• Demonstrated ability to conduct supply market assessments
• Extensive knowledge of chemicals and relevant technical expertise in reviewing RFQs
