Job Summary

A company is looking for a Chemicals Supplier Engagement Specialist to lead supplier engagement and deliver outcomes for buyers on a procurement platform.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage a high volume of Request for Quotes (RFQs) ensuring timely delivery of quality quotes
Assess the supplier landscape to identify and select appropriate suppliers for requested materials
Engage with suppliers to confirm material availability and facilitate communication regarding specifications and delivery terms

Required Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in the chemical industry
Bachelor's degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, or natural science
5+ years of experience in sourcing, technical sales, or business development
Demonstrated ability to conduct supply market assessments and identify suppliers
Extensive knowledge of chemicals and technical expertise in reviewing RFQs
