Cheminformatics Scientist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Cheminformatics Scientist.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain cheminformatic databases, ensuring data integrity and expanding to meet informatics needs
• Build web-based tools for scientists to access and interact with data
• Develop tools for molecular generation and data analysis to support hit-to-lead and lead optimization efforts

Required Qualifications

• BS/MS/PhD in cheminformatics, computational chemistry, medicinal chemistry, or software engineering with drug discovery background
• Experience with relational databases, SQL, and ORMs
• Proficiency with RDKit and fundamental concepts in cheminformatics
• Experience developing web-based tools for chemistry applications
• Proficiency in Linux environment and experience with version control practices
