Cheminformatics Software Developer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Cheminformatics Software Developer to build and maintain chemical safety and predictive toxicology platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and extend cheminformatics and toxicology modules, including decision-tree workflows and risk-ranked reporting
• Collaborate with scientists to translate decision logic into code and integrate external data sources
• Design and enhance user interface components for web-based applications and document system architecture

Required Qualifications

• BS/MS/PhD in Chemistry, Toxicology, Computational Chemistry, or related field
• Experience with cheminformatics toolkits such as RDKit or CDK and knowledge of chemical representation formats
• Proficiency in programming languages like Python, Java, or C++ and experience with RESTful APIs
• Strong skills in relational databases and data modeling
• Experience with data integration and ETL processes
