Chief Accounting Officer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Chief Accounting Officer to lead its global accounting and reporting function.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic oversight of global accounting operations, including consolidations and compliance with GAAP and IFRS standards
• Manage all aspects of accounting operations, including financial reporting and audits
• Lead and mentor a geographically dispersed accounting team to align with company goals

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA designation strongly preferred
• 15+ years of progressive experience in accounting leadership roles, particularly in manufacturing environments
• Experience leading international accounting teams and navigating diverse regulatory environments
• Familiarity with the demands of private equity-backed organizations
• Deep understanding of GAAP and IFRS standards and advanced financial systems
