Chief Accounting Officer

Job Summary

To lead financial strategies and ensure compliance, the full-time remote Chief Accounting Officer will manage the accounting team, oversee the annual internal audit process, and ensure accurate financial reporting in accordance with GAAP.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute the annual internal audit process
• Collaborate with senior leaders to develop financial strategies and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements and manage the accounting team

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA preferred
• Minimum of 10 years of accounting experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and internal audit processes
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite; NetSuite a plus
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills
