Chief Architect

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Chief Architect to provide strategic technical leadership for the modernization and integration of the VA Enrollment System and related platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the architectural vision and roadmap for modernization and integration of legacy systems
• Design scalable, secure, and interoperable solutions for high-volume eligibility and enrollment transactions
• Oversee integration of microservices, APIs, and data pipelines across enterprise systems

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related technical discipline
• 10+ years of relevant experience in enterprise architecture, system integration, and modernization
• Proven expertise in designing and integrating large-scale, mission-critical systems
• Deep knowledge of microservices, API management, and cloud platforms
• Experience with federal security, privacy, and compliance frameworks
