Chief Auditor

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Chief Auditor to join their Finance Leadership Team.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement a comprehensive internal audit plan aligned with organizational objectives and risk profile
• Evaluate and enhance internal controls to ensure compliance with laws and regulations
• Identify and assess critical business risks, developing actionable recommendations to mitigate them

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field; advanced degree or professional certification (CPA, CIA, CISA) preferred
• Minimum of 10 years of internal audit experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
• Strong knowledge of internal audit principles, risk management, and regulatory compliance
• Proven ability to lead and develop audit teams in a dynamic environment
• Experience in the insurance, employee benefits, or financial services sectors is highly desirable
