Chief Credit Officer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Remote Chief Credit Officer with private lending experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the credit risk management function, including underwriting strategy and credit policy oversight
• Serve as the final authority on credit decisions, exceptions, and escalations
• Establish and enforce credit policies and procedures aligned with risk appetite and strategic objectives

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in credit, underwriting, or risk management within mortgage or commercial lending
• 5+ years in a senior leadership role with decision authority and team oversight
• 3+ years at a RTL lender
• 3+ years of DSCR or Non-QM lending experience
• Proven experience in building and enforcing credit policies and procedures
