Chief Engineer

Job Summary

Leading the technical planning and execution for a large-scale development program, the full-time Chief Engineer will oversee system design, integration, and quality assurance for the TACMOR Network program in a hybrid/remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide engineering expertise throughout the program lifecycle, from requirements development to fielding and transition to operations
• Collaborate with the program manager to develop schedules, evaluate design alternatives, and resolve technical challenges
• Lead the development of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and ensure compatibility with Government Reference Architecture

Required qualifications

• Active Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret/SCI clearance within 365 days after start date
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline
• Minimum of twenty years' experience in systems engineering, including cross-discipline team collaboration
• Experience in network systems engineering, including design and deployment of optical, switching, and routing platforms
• Proven expertise in leading large-scale development programs and managing technical contributors
