Chief Engineer

Job Summary

Leading the technical planning and execution for a significant development and integration program, the full-time Chief Engineer will oversee system design, development, and integration for the TACMOR Network program, ensuring high standards of quality and performance in a hybrid/remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide engineering expertise and oversight throughout the program lifecycle, from requirements development to fielding and transition to operations
• Collaborate with the program manager to develop technical schedules, evaluate design alternatives, and resolve technical challenges
• Lead systems requirements analysis, technical management, integration, testing, and quality assurance efforts

Required qualifications

• Active DoD Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret/SCI clearance
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related discipline, with a Master's degree and 18+ years of experience preferred
• Minimum of 20 years of experience in systems engineering or a similar role, focusing on cross-discipline teams
• Proven experience in network systems engineering, including design and deployment of optical and routing platforms
• Extensive experience with communications and computer networks, radar, and digital signal processing
