Chief Epidemiologist (Georgia Licensed)

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Chief Informatics Epidemiologist.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide interface between epidemiology users and SendSS developers to ensure programmatic needs are met
• Supervise Informatics Epidemiologist 2 and coordinate new development/functionality requests
• Support epidemiology users with testing of new development and troubleshoot functionality problems in SendSS

Required Qualifications

• Doctorate degree in public health, epidemiology, biostatistics, or a closely related field with two years of supervisory experience, OR
• Master's degree in public health or a closely related field with three years of epidemiologic work experience in a supervisory role, OR
• Two years of experience in a lower-level epidemiologist position with management responsibilities
• Significant experience working collaboratively with epidemiologists and SendSS system developers is preferred
• Experience with health information exchanges in a public health setting is preferred
