Chief Financial Officer

Job Summary

To support the company's growth from Series B to Series C, the full-time Chief Financial Officer will own Certa's financial strategy, lead fundraising efforts, and build a high-performing finance function while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Set and drive Certa's financial strategy and long-range plan, aligning capital allocation with company goals
• Lead future financing rounds, manage investor relationships, and prepare board materials to instill confidence in the financial plan
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and the implementation of critical SaaS metrics to guide strategic decisions

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive finance leadership, including prior experience as a CFO or senior finance leader in a high-growth B2B SaaS company
• Proven track record in raising institutional capital and managing investor and board relationships
• Deep understanding of SaaS metrics, unit economics, and revenue recognition (ASC 606)
• Experience scaling finance functions in multi-entity, multi-currency global operations
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; CPA, MBA, or CFA preferred
