Chief Information Security Officer

Job Summary

Leading the enterprise-wide information security strategy, the full-time remote Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) will oversee risk management, governance, and compliance while ensuring a resilient security posture for sensitive data and IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the enterprise-wide information security strategy, overseeing risk management, governance, and compliance
• Serve as the executive risk authority, advising the CEO and senior leadership on cyber risk and security posture decisions
• Foster a collaborative security culture while providing executive oversight to the Director of Security Compliance and Director of Information Technology

Required Qualifications

• Progressive experience in cybersecurity or information assurance in a senior leadership role
• Hands-on familiarity with CMMC Level 2 requirements and NIST SP 800-171
• Experience leading a DoD contractor compliance program, including DFARS 252.204-7012
• Proven ability to lead high-performing security and IT teams
• Active DoD TS/SCI security clearance
