Chief Information Security Officer

Job Summary

To drive security strategy and execution, the full-time Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) will manage security initiatives across infrastructure, product, and compliance while working in a hybrid environment if located near Palo Alto, California, or Toronto, Canada.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with Engineering and Product teams to integrate security into the design and operation of the platform
• Own and drive the organization's security strategy, risk posture, and compliance roadmap
• Lead infrastructure and cloud security efforts, implementing controls and building security detection and response capabilities

Required qualifications

• 12+ years in security, with a minimum of 5 years in a senior technical role
• Experience securing GPU compute infrastructure or high-performance computing environments
• Proven ability to build security programs from scratch in a startup or hypergrowth environment
• Hands-on experience with SOC 2 Type II compliance and familiarity with ISO 27001
• Strong technical fluency in cloud and infrastructure security, network security, and identity management
