Job Summary

Leading enterprise cybersecurity initiatives, the full-time salaried Chief Information Security Officer will oversee security assurance and technology risk programs, ensuring the protection of sensitive healthcare information while working remotely in the United States.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a multi-year cybersecurity strategy aligned with business objectives and risk tolerance
• Own the enterprise security audit and assurance strategy, ensuring continuous readiness for various audits and assessments
• Serve as the principal cybersecurity advisor to executive leadership and the Board of Directors, translating technical risks into business impacts

Required qualifications

• Significant executive cybersecurity leadership experience in healthcare
• Direct accountability for major healthcare security audits and certifications, including HITRUST and SOC examinations
• Experience protecting PHI in a large-scale, cloud-based healthcare technology environment
• Proven ability to build and lead high-performing security organizations across multiple countries
• Strong knowledge of cloud security, software security, and incident response
