Chief Information Security Officer
Job Summary
Leading the charge in information security, the full-time salaried Chief Information Security Officer will own the strategy and governance of security functions, optimize an enterprise-wide security framework, and manage risk in a remote capacity while collaborating with executive leadership and aligning security capabilities with business objectives.
Key responsibilities
- Optimize and mature an enterprise-wide information security strategy aligned with business objectives
- Lead and develop a high-performing security team across various security domains
- Manage the firm's security risk management program, including risk assessments and incident response capabilities
Required qualifications
- 15+ years of progressive experience in information security, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role, preferably in financial services
- Deep knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and standards such as NIST CSF and ISO 27001
- Experience managing security in cloud-native or hybrid environments, with familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Strong understanding of the regulatory landscape relevant to financial services and data privacy laws
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
