Chief Information Security Officer

Job Summary

Leading the charge in information security, the full-time salaried Chief Information Security Officer will own the strategy and governance of security functions, optimize an enterprise-wide security framework, and manage risk in a remote capacity while collaborating with executive leadership and aligning security capabilities with business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Optimize and mature an enterprise-wide information security strategy aligned with business objectives
• Lead and develop a high-performing security team across various security domains
• Manage the firm's security risk management program, including risk assessments and incident response capabilities

Required qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive experience in information security, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role, preferably in financial services
• Deep knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and standards such as NIST CSF and ISO 27001
• Experience managing security in cloud-native or hybrid environments, with familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Strong understanding of the regulatory landscape relevant to financial services and data privacy laws
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
