Job Summary

Seeking a hands-on Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to lead the cybersecurity strategy in a full-time remote capacity, actively designing and implementing a comprehensive information security program while ensuring compliance with banking regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and monitor a comprehensive information security program, balancing executive strategy with technical architecture reviews
• Build and safeguard a cloud-native banking infrastructure, integrating modern security practices such as zero-trust architecture
• Oversee threat-monitoring and incident-response capabilities, utilizing real-time threat intelligence to mitigate risks

Required qualifications

• Extensive experience in information security within a regulated bank or financial services institution
• Proven hands-on technical background in cloud security architectures and automated DevSecOps pipelines
• Deep knowledge of threat landscapes and security operations center (SOC) management
• Strong track record of building and leading diverse security teams
• Ability to communicate complex technical vulnerabilities in business contexts to executive leadership
