Chief Information Security Officer

Job Summary

Leading the information security strategy and governance, the full-time remote Chief Information Security Officer will establish and advance the cybersecurity program, manage risk assessments, and ensure compliance with industry standards such as PCI DSS and SOC 2.

Key responsibilities

• Establish a cybersecurity governance framework aligned with business objectives and regulatory requirements
• Lead enterprise cybersecurity risk assessments and oversee the remediation of identified risks
• Manage the cybersecurity incident response program and promote a security-conscious culture within the organization

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive experience in information security or related disciplines
• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
• Strong knowledge of NIST cybersecurity frameworks, PCI DSS, and SOC 2
• Hands-on experience with security technologies including firewalls, intrusion detection, and identity management
• Relevant professional certification such as CISSP, CISM, or CRISC
