Chief Information Security Officer

Job Summary

To drive security initiatives at a rapidly growing company, the full-time Chief Information Security Officer will own Eon's security strategy, lead the internal security program, and represent the organization to customers and regulators in a remote capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Define and manage Eon's overall security strategy, roadmap, and budget while briefing the executive team and board on risk and investment priorities
• Establish compliance with SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST, and FedRAMP, managing audits and maintaining continuous readiness
• Partner with Engineering and Product teams to integrate secure-by-design principles into development processes and manage incident response operations

Required qualifications

• 10+ years in cybersecurity, with at least 5 years in senior security leadership roles at enterprise SaaS or cloud companies
• Proven experience building and scaling security programs in high-growth environments
• Hands-on knowledge of cloud, SaaS, infrastructure security, and data protection
• Direct experience managing SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST, and FedRAMP compliance programs
• Strong executive-level communication skills, capable of engaging with boards and enterprise customers
