Job Summary
A credit union is seeking a Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to create and manage the information security program, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide guidance on security infrastructure changes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary contact for business continuity, information security, and incident response programs
- Create and modify policies and procedures related to data treatment, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
- Keep up to date with developments in the threat landscape, advise leadership on security implications, and coordinate breach response and investigations
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a banking-related or security-related field
- 7-10 years of information security experience
- 7-10 years of experience in banking, credit union, or government finance
- Clear understanding of banking regulatory requirements for information security
- Professional security designation such as CISSP, CISA, CISM
