Chief Legal Officer

Job Summary

Serving as the company's most senior legal advisor, the full-time Chief Legal Officer will manage all legal matters affecting the enterprise, including healthcare regulatory compliance, contract negotiations, and litigation management, while working remotely within a rapidly growing healthcare revenue cycle management organization.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic legal counsel to the CEO and executive team on growth, risk, and governance
• Lead the Legal, Compliance & Risk organization, including the enterprise risk management framework
• Oversee the full commercial contract lifecycle and negotiate agreements with hospital systems and health plans

Required qualifications

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school with active bar membership in at least one U.S. state
• 15+ years of progressive legal experience, including 7+ years in-house in healthcare services or regulated multi-state businesses
• Prior experience as General Counsel, Chief Legal Officer, or Deputy GC with enterprise-wide scope
• Deep expertise in healthcare regulations such as HIPAA/HITECH and the False Claims Act
• Proven track record in negotiating complex commercial agreements with hospital systems and health plans
