Chief Medical Officer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Chief Medical Officer (CMO) to lead clinical strategy and oversight of its investment portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership across the fund's portfolio, including digital health and telemedicine companies
• Evaluate investment opportunities for clinical validity, patient impact, and scalability
• Conduct clinical due diligence on prospective investments, including care models, outcomes, and medical assumptions

Qualifications

• Board-certified physician with 5+ years of clinical experience
• Experience in digital health, healthcare startups, or healthcare investing strongly preferred
• Deep understanding of healthcare reimbursement, clinical operations, and care delivery models
• Ability to assess both clinical rigor and business viability of healthcare innovations
• Experience working with founders, executives, or investors is a plus
