Job Summary
Providing overall strategic direction for an anticipated USDA-funded Food for Progress (FFPr) program, the full-time Chief of Party will manage program implementation, ensure compliance with regulations, and serve as the primary liaison to stakeholders while working remotely from the United States.
Key responsibilities
- Lead program management in alignment with USDA guidelines to achieve project objectives
- Oversee program planning, team structures, and monitoring and evaluation processes for successful delivery
- Manage partnerships within the program consortium and represent the program to various stakeholders
Required qualifications
- Post-graduate education (Master's or higher) in a relevant field such as development studies or agricultural economics
- Minimum of seven years of increasing management responsibility in international development projects
- Proven leadership skills managing similar-sized projects in complex contexts
- Experience in financial reporting and program implementation management
- Familiarity with USDA's Food for Progress approaches and regulations
