Chief Operating Officer

Job Summary

Accountable for day-to-day operations and profitability, the full-time Chief Operating Officer will develop and implement strategic plans, oversee operating plans, and cultivate relationships with network providers while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic and tactical plans for business growth and financial success
• Oversee the execution of operating plans, focusing on employee development and member/provider relations
• Establish criteria for measuring performance and ensure the development of an appropriate provider network

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field required; Master's Degree preferred
• 7+ years of senior-level managed care experience, preferably as a plan operating officer or executive director
• Experience in managed care and/or Medicaid
• Previous management experience with responsibilities for hiring, training, and performance management
