Chief Operating Officer

Job Summary

To support a diverse portfolio of specialty insurance businesses, the full-time remote Chief Operating Officer will lead business performance initiatives, oversee the integration of acquired companies, and drive operational excellence while fostering a high-performance culture.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the Division President and profit center leaders to establish priorities and drive business and financial performance
• Lead the integration of acquired businesses and develop scalable operating models that support long-term growth
• Oversee operational performance and identify improvement opportunities across the portfolio while maintaining local business strengths

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; MBA or equivalent preferred
• Minimum 15 years of progressive leadership experience in insurance or financial services
• Demonstrated success in leading decentralized organizations with multiple business models
• Experience integrating acquired businesses and managing large-scale organizational change
• Strong understanding of insurance distribution and specialty insurance operating models
