Job Summary

As a strategic leader in a remote capacity, the Chief Operations Officer will manage day-to-day operations, oversee core functions such as finance and human resources, and drive organizational effectiveness while partnering closely with the CEO and executive team.

Key responsibilities

• Provide executive leadership and oversight of daily operations to align with the organization's mission and strategic goals
• Develop and implement operational strategies and policies that enhance efficiency and scalability
• Oversee financial performance, including budgeting and resource allocation, ensuring fiscal responsibility and sustainability

Required qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to lead complex, multi-functional operations within a nonprofit environment
• Strong understanding of financial management, budgeting, and resource allocation
• Experience leading executives across human resources and organizational development
• Familiarity with legal and regulatory requirements affecting nonprofit organizations
• Knowledge of information systems and data analytics to support operational decision-making
