Chief Product and Technology Officer

Job Summary

To drive product vision and technical strategy in a remote environment, the Chief Product and Technology Officer (CPTO) will take full ownership of engineering execution and modernization efforts while establishing AI-first development practices and leading a dedicated team.

Key responsibilities

• Define and own the multi-year product and technology roadmap, transitioning from a customer-reactive to a market-facing posture
• Lead the implementation of AI-first development practices and execute an AI product strategy that enhances district operations
• Build team structure and processes to improve collaboration and establish development standards across cloud, hybrid, and on-premise deployments

Required qualifications

• Proven experience in AI-first development and transformation
• Strong technical foundation in infrastructure, architecture, and platform operations
• Experience with hybrid or on-premise deployment models in a K-12 or EdTech context
• Demonstrated ability to lead product strategy and team-building in complex environments
• Change management experience, particularly in maintaining culture while implementing new processes
