Job Summary

To support a growing organization focused on child welfare, the full-time salaried Chief Program Officer will provide executive leadership across program strategy, oversee federally funded initiatives, and enhance membership engagement while working remotely.

Key responsibilities
  • Provide executive oversight and leadership across the organization's program portfolio, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities
  • Supervise senior program leaders and support the execution of federally funded programs, maintaining compliance and performance outcomes
  • Lead initiatives for membership engagement, professional learning, and certification, enhancing the organization's impact in child welfare
Required qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred
  • A minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience in child welfare or related human services fields
  • At least five years in an executive-level leadership role overseeing complex national child welfare programs
  • Experience with ACF cooperative agreements, grants, or large-scale initiatives
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional work and coordinate across multiple programs and stakeholders
