Chief Scientific Officer

Job Summary

Leading the development of a multi-year scientific agenda, the full-time remote Chief Scientific Officer will guide the organization's improvement science strategy, ensuring rigorous evidence and innovation drive health outcomes worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the Improvement Science Hub and formalize the Product Development and Management System (PDMS) to prioritize offerings
• Establish enterprise-wide standards for scientific integrity, ethics, and data governance
• Strengthen partnerships and support growth through engagement with funders and customers while developing scientific talent within the organization

Required qualifications

• Advanced degree (PhD, DrPH, MD, or equivalent) in public health, medicine, health services research, epidemiology, implementation science, social science, or a related discipline
• Deep expertise in improvement science with practical application in complex systems
• Strong scientific credibility demonstrated through peer-reviewed publications and recognized contributions to the field
