Job Summary
Seeking a passionate Chief Software Engineer for a full-time remote position to direct the implementation, deployment, and maintenance of vehicle management software while providing technical leadership and collaborating with cross-functional teams in the aerospace sector.
Key responsibilities:
- Direct implementation, deployment, and maintenance of vehicle management software systems in compliance with industry standards
- Advise and partner with engineering teams to refine vehicle management requirements and specifications
- Provide technical leadership for software development and oversee integration of externally-developed functions into systems
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Ability to obtain Top Secret U.S. Security Clearance post-start, requiring U.S. Citizenship
- 18+ years of experience in designing and developing software for real-time or non-real-time systems
- 18+ years of experience in software development using languages such as C/C++ or Java/Python
