Chief Technology Officer

Job Summary

Seeking a hands-on Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to join a remote, full-time position, responsible for defining the technical vision, leading engineering teams, and overseeing the development of backend systems and AI infrastructure to support an innovative recruiting platform.

Key responsibilities

• Define and own the overall technical vision, platform architecture, and engineering roadmap
• Lead, recruit, and scale a world-class engineering organization while establishing engineering best practices
• Oversee the design, development, and reliability of backend systems, APIs, and data workflows

Required qualifications

• Proven experience in a senior technical leadership role, preferably as a CTO or similar
• Strong background in software architecture, engineering practices, and AI/ML infrastructure
• Experience with backend technologies such as TypeScript/NestJS and Python/FastAPI
• Demonstrated ability to build and mentor high-performing engineering teams
• Familiarity with compliance and certification requirements in enterprise environments
