Chief Technology Officer

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time Chief Technology Officer who will lead software engineering efforts, drive technical execution of a sophisticated SaaS platform, and foster a high-performing remote engineering culture while partnering closely with product leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Set and execute engineering strategy aligned with company goals and product vision
• Lead, mentor, and manage director-level reports across engineering, quality assurance, DevOps, and IT/Cybersecurity
• Drive AI adoption in development workflows and lead the delivery of AI/LLM-enabled product features

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive engineering experience with significant leadership at the director or VP level
• Proven experience in building and shipping SaaS products, particularly in educational or training software
• Strong familiarity with microservices, GraphQL/REST APIs, and AWS
• Experience leading remote-first engineering teams, including offshore contributors
• Active use of AI-assisted development tools and experience delivering AI/LLM-enabled features
