Chief Technology Officer

Job Summary

Seeking a product-minded Chief Technology Officer, the full-time remote role will architect and build the data platform that powers BTC Inc's next generation of products, lead engineering standards, and manage the engineering organization.

Key responsibilities

• Own the technical architecture of the data platform, including ingestion pipelines and a unified data model
• Define the technical relationship between the consumer app and the data platform, ensuring production-grade event credentialing
• Hire and develop the engineering team while establishing engineering culture and standards across the company

Required qualifications

• 10+ years in software engineering, with at least 3 years as a senior technical leader in a startup or data-intelligence company
• Experience architecting and shipping a data platform that powered a revenue product
• Deep expertise in a modern data stack, including BigQuery or Snowflake, dbt, and BI tools
• Track record of hiring and growing senior individual contributors in a high-trust environment
• Bitcoin-literate or genuinely curious about Bitcoin and its technology
