Job Summary

Leading the development of technology and systems for a $5B+ operation, the remote Chief Technology Officer will manage a growing engineering team, oversee software delivery for cash transfers, and ensure the stability of legacy systems while building new solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Define and own the technical strategy for technology-first delivery, including architecture and platforms
• Balance multiple workstreams, managing the development of new systems and stabilization of legacy technology
• Recruit and grow an exceptional technology organization, establishing accountability and career paths for talent

Required qualifications

• Proven experience in hiring, managing, and developing engineering talent
• Strong technical judgment with the ability to evaluate designs and architecture
• Business acumen with a history of navigating trade-offs in technical and operational contexts
• Experience in leveraging AI to enhance engineering productivity and organizational capability
• Background in regulated domains such as fintech, payments, or global development is advantageous
