Job Summary

Owning technology strategy and architecture, the full-time remote Chief Technology Officer will manage major technical decisions, set engineering standards, and drive improvements in engineering productivity across multiple businesses.

Key responsibilities

• Own architecture and major technical decisions across group products and platforms
• Set engineering standards for reliability, security, performance, testing, and code quality
• Recruit and assess senior engineers, technical leads, and engineering leaders

Required qualifications

• Deep software engineering background with experience in building and scaling production systems
• Strong knowledge of backend systems, APIs, databases, cloud infrastructure, and distributed systems
• Experience making architecture decisions across multiple products or engineering teams
• Strong technical judgment with the ability to challenge engineering decisions at the implementation level
• Capable of building world-class engineering teams while remaining technically hands-on
