Job Summary

A company is looking for an Associate (VP) Chief Underwriter, Underwriting Strategy and Governance.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and operationalize underwriting governance standards and policy frameworks
• Establish and maintain an enterprise underwriting governance operating model
• Lead execution of underwriting quality audit programs and manage vendor relationships

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent related work experience required
• Master's Degree or MBA preferred
• 15+ years of life insurance experience
• Demonstrated Signing Authority of $20 million
• Professional designations such as ACS, ALU, FLMI, FALU, or CLU preferred
