Job Summary
To provide culturally humble episodic care to patients in acute crisis, the full-time Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist will work remotely, evaluating and treating individuals across multiple emergency settings while collaborating with onsite professionals.
Key responsibilities
- Simultaneously evaluate and treat patients in crisis across various emergency rooms and psychiatric programs
- Direct and implement psychotherapeutic treatments and prescribe medications for mental health disorders
- Utilize a collaborative care approach with healthcare teams to ensure timely patient disposition and care
Required qualifications
- Board-certified or board-eligible Psychiatrist with unrestricted, independent licensure
- Experience providing psychiatric care to children, adolescents, and adults in acute crisis settings
- Established and updated CAQH and FCVS profiles
- Advanced technical proficiency in telehealth and multiple EMRs
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients from diverse backgrounds
