Child Protection Consultant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Child Protection System Strengthening in Humanitarian Action Consultant.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct qualitative research on the role of governments and civil society in child protection systems in humanitarian contexts
• Develop a technical note on child protection systems strengthening, informed by qualitative data and stakeholder consultations
• Organize and co-chair a technical reference group to provide guidance and present findings to key stakeholders

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Sciences, social work, public policy, international affairs/studies, or management
• At least 8 years of relevant experience in the Development/Humanitarian sectors
• Experience in child protection systems strengthening, especially in humanitarian contexts
• Familiarity with the Minimum Standards for Child Protection in Humanitarian Action
• Strong writing and editing skills in English; proficiency in Arabic, French, or Spanish is an asset
