Child Psychiatrist

Job Summary

To provide essential clinical care, the part-time Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist will conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, formulate treatment plans, and engage families in the treatment process, all while delivering care remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and create individualized treatment plans for children and adolescents
• Utilize evidence-based practices and medication management strategies to address various mental health conditions
• Engage families in the treatment process, educating them on mental health issues and involving them in care planning

Required qualifications

• MD or DO degree
• ABPN Board Certification in Child Psychiatry
• Current unrestricted license to practice medicine in the United States
• Experience with virtual care and telepsychiatry platforms
• Demonstrated family engagement skills and experience working with children and adolescents
