Job Summary
Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Child Support Call Center Agent will manage inbound inquiries for the New Jersey Department of Human Services, addressing customer questions regarding child support services and ensuring accurate information is provided.
Key responsibilities
- Respond to telephone inquiries and concerns using approved procedures and guidelines
- Research and resolve customer inquiries related to child support payments and account histories
- Document customer calls accurately and communicate available services and resources to clients
Required qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Two years of high-volume call center or customer service experience
- Experience with data entry and database documentation
- Typing speed of at least 30 words per minute
- Access to a compatible computer setup with specific technical requirements, including dual monitors
