Job Summary
To support child welfare initiatives, the full-time Child Welfare Peer Facilitator will manage and deliver technical assistance activities for peer groups, ensuring alignment with group needs and federal permanency programs, while working remotely or in a hybrid capacity for candidates within a 50-mile radius of North Bethesda or San Mateo.
Key responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver virtual, hybrid, and in-person technical assistance activities on child welfare topics
- Develop and coordinate online resources that align with the needs of peer groups
- Facilitate peer group activities, including agenda setting and resource identification
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; Master's degree preferred
- At least 10 years of experience in or with public child welfare, particularly in permanency services
- Proven ability to create and deliver presentations and facilitate group learning experiences
- Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office and comfort with virtual platforms like Zoom
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance
