Job Summary

Working remotely with potential hybrid options, the full-time salaried Child Welfare Technical Advisor will provide training and technical assistance, manage project deliverables, and collaborate with child welfare agencies to improve workforce capabilities and outcomes for children and families.

Key responsibilities
  • Maintain expertise in child welfare practices and ensure the delivery of high-quality training and technical assistance
  • Communicate with project/client contacts, providing updates on trends and best practices while offering recommendations for effective T/TA approaches
  • Guide and supervise T/TA staff, ensuring all activities meet contractual obligations and are documented appropriately
Required qualifications
  • Master's Degree in Social Work, Public Administration, or related field
  • At least 15 years of relevant work experience in child welfare and related systems
  • Demonstrated expertise in child welfare workforce development and continuous quality improvement
  • Knowledge of federal child welfare programs and performance improvement initiatives
  • Ability to travel 10-20 percent based on project needs
