Job Summary
Working remotely with occasional hybrid options for local candidates, the full-time salaried Child Welfare Technical Advisor will ensure the design and delivery of training and technical assistance for child welfare projects, while collaborating with project leadership and providing guidance to staff and consultants.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain professional expertise in child welfare, identifying trends and sharing knowledge with project teams and clients
- Manage the design and delivery of technical assistance, ensuring all activities meet contractual obligations and are documented appropriately
- Collaborate with other technical experts to identify T/TA needs and develop long-term strategies for performance improvement in child welfare systems
Required qualifications
- Master's Degree in Social Work, Public Administration, Human Services, or a related field
- At least 15 years of relevant work experience in child welfare and related systems
- Demonstrated expertise in child welfare workforce development and continuous quality improvement
- Experience supporting public child welfare agencies in improving practice and outcomes
- Knowledge of federal child welfare programs and performance improvement efforts
