Job Summary

Working remotely with the potential for hybrid arrangements, the full-time Child Welfare Technical Advisor will ensure the design and delivery of training and technical assistance for child welfare projects while collaborating with teams and supervising staff to improve organizational outcomes.

Key responsibilities
  • Manage and monitor the design and delivery of training and technical assistance (T/TA) activities, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations
  • Maintain communication with project/client contacts, providing updates on trends, policies, and best practices while offering recommendations for effective T/TA approaches
  • Collaborate with other technical experts to identify T/TA needs, analyze effective strategies, and contribute to written deliverables such as reports and presentations
Required qualifications
  • Master's Degree in Social Work, Public Administration, Human Services, or a related field
  • At least 15 years of relevant work experience in child welfare and related systems
  • Demonstrated expertise in child welfare workforce development and continuous quality improvement
  • Experience supporting public child welfare agencies in improving practice and organizational outcomes
  • Knowledge of federal child welfare programs and performance improvement efforts
