Job Summary
Working remotely with occasional hybrid options, the full-time salaried Child Welfare Technical Advisor will strengthen workforce and organizational conditions to improve child welfare outcomes through training, technical assistance, and collaboration with public child welfare agencies.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the design and delivery of training and technical assistance (T/TA) activities, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations
- Maintain communication with project/client contacts, providing insights on trends, issues, and best practices in child welfare
- Collaborate with project leadership and other technical experts to identify needs, analyze effective approaches, and develop long-term strategies for performance improvement
Required qualifications
- Master's Degree in Social Work, Public Administration, Human Services, or a related field
- At least 15 years of relevant work experience in child welfare and related systems
- Demonstrated expertise in child welfare workforce development and continuous quality improvement
- Experience supporting public child welfare agencies in improving practice and outcomes for children and families
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance
