Job Summary
Leading child welfare special initiatives, the full-time Child Welfare Technical Advisor III will design and deliver technical assistance, supervise staff, and coordinate a consultant pool while working remotely or in a hybrid capacity for those within 50 miles of North Bethesda or San Mateo.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate child welfare special initiatives and priority activities, delivering effective technical assistance and resources
- Guide recruitment and support of a consultant pool, ensuring high-quality service delivery and project management
- Supervise and provide professional development to assigned staff, fostering a positive team culture and high performance
Required qualifications
- Master's degree in a relevant field
- At least 20 years of relevant work experience in public child welfare
- Expert-level knowledge of child welfare practices and continuous quality improvement
- Demonstrated project management experience, including managing cross-system partnerships
- Experience in implementing broad-scale projects within a public service system
