Job Summary
To support child welfare initiatives, the full-time Child Welfare Technical Advisor will design and deliver training and technical assistance, coordinate special projects, and supervise staff while working remotely or in a hybrid capacity for candidates within a 50-mile radius of North Bethesda or San Mateo offices.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the coordination of child welfare special initiatives and engage with technical experts to deliver resources and technical assistance
- Oversee the recruitment and management of a consultant pool to enhance service delivery and support project goals
- Facilitate meetings and forums using a human-centered design approach to foster a positive team culture and improve project outcomes
Required qualifications
- Master's degree in a relevant field
- At least 15 years of relevant work experience in child welfare and related services
- Demonstrated expert-level knowledge in public child welfare practices and related topics
- Fluency in English, both oral and written
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
