Job Summary
To support child welfare initiatives, the full-time Child Welfare Technical Advisor II will coordinate special projects, deliver technical assistance, and supervise staff while working remotely or in a hybrid capacity for candidates within a 50-mile radius of designated offices.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead coordination of child welfare special initiatives and activities, engaging with technical and subject matter experts
- Oversee recruitment and support of a consultant pool to enhance service delivery and maintain effective communication with project clients
- Supervise staff and facilitate professional development while ensuring high-quality technical assistance meets contractual obligations
Required qualifications:
- Master's degree in a relevant field
- At least 15 years of relevant work experience in child welfare and human services
- Expert-level knowledge of public child welfare practices and related topics
- Fluency in English, both oral and written
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
