Chinese Language Tutor

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Chinese Language Tutor.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide at least five hours of tutoring per week in the Languages Tutoring Lab/Online
• Support students in language proficiency through grammar explanations, draft reviews, and oral skills development
• Attend Tutor Meetings, Training Sessions, and communicate with the Tutoring Coordinator and Assistant Director of Administration

Required Qualifications

• Advanced or near-native fluency in Chinese
• Intermediate-to-high proficiency in English for effective student explanations
• Excellent organizational skills
• Prior tutoring or teaching experience in the target language is preferred
• Graduate or advanced undergraduate students are preferred
